DRIVER TECHNOLOGY
The KZ Castor Pro Harman uses a dual 10 mm dynamic driver configuration designed for improved speed, control, and output. Both drivers work together to deliver a layered presentation with better separation between bass and mids. The diaphragm system focuses on controlled excursion and fast recovery, allowing bass notes to hit with authority while keeping the midrange clean and stable. The resin shell incorporates an optimized internal acoustic chamber that manages airflow and pressure for smoother low-frequency response and reduced distortion. With moderate impedance and good sensitivity, the Castor Pro Harman performs well directly from smartphones and scales slightly with cleaner DAC sources.
TUNING PHILOSOPHY
Tuned around a Harman-target reference, the Castor Pro Harman delivers a balanced and natural sound signature. Bass is present but controlled, avoiding excessive bloom while maintaining good sub-bass extension. Midrange remains clear and well-positioned, giving vocals and instruments proper body without shout or recession. Treble is smooth, extended, and non-fatiguing, offering good detail without harshness or sibilance. The overall presentation is clean, coherent, and versatile—well suited for long listening sessions and a wide range of music genres.
