The Wan'er SG2 Red Lion Edition uses a 10mm dynamic driver with an enhanced PET (polyethylene terephthalate) diaphragm, paired with upgraded internal wiring over the standard Wan'er SG2. The stiffer, lighter PET diaphragm allows for faster transient response and tighter bass control, while the revised internal wiring reduces signal loss for a cleaner overall output. The driver is housed in a lightweight, medical-grade resin shell with a standard 0.78mm 2-pin detachable connector, keeping the door open for future cable upgrades.
TUNING PHILOSOPHY
The Red Lion Edition follows Tangzu's "lion-inspired" retune of the original Wan'er SG2 - the same core balance, but with noticeably more low-end weight and authority. It leans into a warm, U-shaped signature: sub-bass rumble and mid-bass punch are pushed forward for extra impact, while the midrange stays fairly clean and vocals keep a natural, laid-back warmth. Treble is smooth rather than sparkly, rolled off just enough to stay fatigue-free on longer sessions without feeling closed-in.
