DRIVER TECHNOLOGY
The KZ Castor uses a dual 10 mm dynamic driver setup arranged in a coaxial stack. One driver is dedicated to bass, while the other handles mids and highs, allowing cleaner separation and lower distortion. Each driver uses high-strength N52 magnets for strong output and fast response. A hybrid acoustic/electrical crossover ensures smooth blending between the two drivers. The shell houses a 3D-printed internal structure for stability, plus tuning filters and DIP switches that allow up to different sound profiles. controlled full.
TUNING PHILOSOPHY
This Harman edition aims to follow the Harman in-ear target: neutral, balanced, and universally pleasing. Bass has a clean, controlled lift that matches the Harman bass shelf, mids are natural and accurate for vocals and instruments, and treble is smooth with good extension but free from harshness. Out of the box, it delivers a reference-style tuning suitable for both enjoyment and monitoring. The DIP switches allow small adjustments, but the stock tuning closely matches Harman’s well-known balanced signature.
