DRIVER TECHNOLOGY
The Simgot EG280 uses a hybrid dual-driver system featuring a 10mm dynamic driver paired with a 6mm planar driver for fast transients, clean separation, and detailed audio reproduction. The dynamic driver delivers controlled low-end punch, while the planar unit adds speed and clarity to the mids and treble. Its ergonomic over-ear shell ensures comfort, and the integrated USB-C DAC cable provides stable, distortion-free digital audio across many devices without needing an external dongle.
TUNING PHILOSOPHY
The EG280 follows a balanced U-shaped tuning designed to give listeners both musicality and technical precision. Bass is punchy yet disciplined, offering impact without muddying the midrange. Vocals and instruments remain clean and natural, enhanced by the planar driver’s speed and articulation. Treble is crisp and airy while avoiding harshness, keeping long listening sessions comfortable. The hybrid configuration also enhances imaging accuracy, delivering strong positional cues and clear separation.
